Metaverse Video Games

Overview:

The year 2022 started with crazy hype: "brands MUST have their own metaverse." We spent more time convincing prospects NOT to invest in the metaverse than we did making them. We at The Rocks do NOT believe in buying LAND, the metaverse of the REAL estate business, etc.
ROBLOX is a metaverse ecosystem whose megatrend from the US comes to Italy.
ROBLOX's target audience is GEN Z (>1995) and ALPHA (>2010).

The Brief:

- The Mondadori client's goal was to promote a book by famous gamer/youtuber Roberta "Roby Polar Bear." Since Roberta creates so much content on Roblox games, offering her community a game dedicated to her stories created enormous expectations.

- Samsung aimed to promote the "Smart Thing" home automation app. Various Samsung products were then included in the video game, and the player was asked to use the clone of the Smart Thing app to overcome the missions of the various levels, up to the final one.

- Banca Intesa aimed to promote the youth account through age-targeted gamification and the concept of saving money. In fact, the goal of the game was to collect as many coins as possible but with the caution of going on time to put them in the piggy bank.

Results:

Our metaverse games on Roblox have redefined entertainment for brands. We offered players an immersive and engaging experience. The innovative game mechanics, combined with the interactive elements, not only attracted a large number of players, but also ensured retention rates and long stays.
